LADY EVELYN LAKE How to get here!!
Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to come by horse & buggy, there are roads this far north. We are located just 6 hours north of Toronto or 7 hours Northeast of the Sault. Directions to Mowats Landing are relatively easy and most of our guests do arrive at the proper location without too much straying Once you reach Mowats Landing, unpack your gear and step aboard our 22' Covered Stanley Pulsecraft for a scenic 8 mile boat trip. Just around the corner from Mowats is the Mattawapika Dam (the gateway to Lady Evelyn Lake), this is where our boat is trailered around the dam and launched into our secluded waters. You'll see many things along the way and learn some of the hot spots, occassionally a Moose or Bear sighting, so make sure your camera is readily accessible. Some of the things you won't see however, is an overabundance of fishing boats or an array of jetski's taking over. You are now in the Remote Wilderness, so sit back and enjoy the ride!
